I have a 1985 GMC s15 shortbed, my cab is rusted out and i am going to change it. i noticed that there are wireing harnesses on the steering columb and the main plug in on the firewall, What i need to know is if i can use a newer style cab with the new dash and stuff. i need to know if the plug in on the fire wall will still fit and the harnesses on the steering columb. i alos need to know if i can use a cabfrom an s10 .

Hell find a Pinto chassis and bolt that on. The futuristic non-mononique sub frame would be well suited to this application with very little damage to the overall chassis rigidity. Have fun with it above all!
