Somthings NOT to Change!

The form of this BBS is GREAT IMO. One thing that I DON"T want to see is the layout change much. I've seen some other bbs's just be a list of post's with no form at all. Other then speed I like this BBS! That's my one cent worth.

Yeah I really like the "flat" view of threads. I hate the threaded view.

Re: Somthings NOT to Change!

I have to agree with mehr4x4 the form here is much better than on other boards it's just the speed thats a problem.

Take care of the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.

Re: Somthings NOT to Change!

If I find things running slowly with a cable MODEM, the dial-up guys must be really waiting a long time!

Change nothing but the speed! Okay, maybe the searching needs a little help...

This is the easiest board to use! And, you don't use dark backgrounds!

Ack

Re: Somthings NOT to Change!

I agree. Leave the layout the same. Just do whatever you have to, to speed things up. This is by far the slowest board I've been on!

Re: Somthings NOT to Change!

If have pics in peoples signatures is slowing things down, I say eliminate that feature. If someone wants to show off their vehicle, just list your web address.

Re: Somthings NOT to Change!

i also find the layout far superior to any other bbs i have been on... lets keep it!!! it does need to be sped up... maybe deleting.. or having a seperate "history" portion for threads over a year old.. not sure how this really works.. if something like that would help speed things up..

Re: Somthings NOT to Change!

I agree that this board's format is among the best out there. The speed seems to come and go.
