Sig lines and Color changes

Wow, the speed is an approvement! Thanks for upgrading, now on to the questions...

1. The Signature Line limit in the "My Home Profile" is just too darned short at 100 characters.

It eliminates my my clicky signature/logo that takes the viewer to my home plage. Is there any chance of having this limit extended to 250 characters as was the old BBS?

2. Colors Style sheet leave a little to be desired for these tired ol' eyes of mine.

Is there any possibility of have a Style Sheet constructed that will have a Colored text on a White or LIGHT gray background to enhance readability?

Re: Sig lines and Color changes

Nope, sorry, we will constrain the amount of data in the .signatures as text (100 characters) and in image width (80) and height (80) (we are working on the later right now).

Thanks

I agree with the admins on this one. There is no reason that people need to take up even 15k for a sig pic. That's what bios are for.

I agree with Pat. For all I'm concerned, nobody should have any vehicle information in their signature. Bios people, bios. I have an email address and a url for my shop in my sig. That is plenty.

Re: Sig lines and Color changes

I had my vehicle info in my sig, and people were complaining that it messed up the searches. I took it out, but then I brought up the issue of people having huge sig pics. With the new SW, having your vehicle info in your sig is *really* not an issue anymore. No offense to anyone, but big flashy sigs with animations and such just make it harder to read the posts.

Re: Sig lines and Color changes

I kinda agree with LEVE.. My pic is not big, but the URL is rather long.. I'm about 12 chars over the limit of 100.. And I don't have a large sig??

Any way you can compensate a few characters??
