ORC Internet Access

What do you all think about our idea to offer Dial Internet Access?

We will not do this until the BBS and the mail server are upgraded.

Re: ORC Internet Access

What exactly are you talking about? Maybe I'm just dumb but I'm already on dial up and have access to ORC so that can't be what your talking about. More info please.

Re: ORC Internet Access

We would be an ISP with nationwide service. Instead of using AOL, Earthlink, MSN etc. you would use ORC.

Our rate would be $13.95 a month and 25% of our profit would be re-firected to entities fighting to keep public lands open to OHV access.

Re: ORC Internet Access

By "nationwide" do you mean there will be local access numbers nationwide or is that $13.95 on top of longdistance charges? Just curious.

Re: ORC Internet Access

In the newtwork we will work with, there are about 3000 access numbers. You can search for you locale at http://www.dialupusa.net/locations/index.html

If you are outside these access nodes, you would incur LD charges.

Re: ORC Internet Access

I think it's an excellent idea as long as that (13.95) is the cost with no LD fees or other hidden charges.
