Wink Where to start

Hi im from las vegas nevada and i want to start racing my yamaha warrior 350 but i dont know where to start. Im more interested with point to point or cross country. I know where some mx tracks are but I honestly dont know how to do that type of riding. so any one out there willing to help out it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are in Vegas, you are close to several BITD races too. BITD races are good because you can choose to run with a teammate or solo. They do a good job laying out a quad course and working hard to keep all riders safe - but go prepared! Especially for the longer ones.

The Parker 250 would have been a good one for a first time out, but it was this weekend. It's a loop race so pitting is fairly easy, a portion has spectator access and seating.

There's another loop-format BITD race later this season. IMHO I wouldn't make a point-to-point your first effort, unless you have lots of friends to chase and pit (and parts!). But people do it all the time, so it's a lot of luck too.
