Re: Vegas to Reno

Hope to be racing. My partner was laid off from his job so he may not have the money. Hopefully he will get another job quick. Quad has been torn apart since after Terrible's, just waiting on a few parts to put it back together. Should have it back together by the weekend. Plan on testing the quad and the lights at a local night race on July 29th.

Re: Vegas to Reno

Were getting there. Eric just emailed me about getting a new frame. The original one had a few welds on it.

Re: Vegas to Reno

Well, looks like we are in. Sent in our entry and deposit. Quad (and lights!) worked great at the night race, to bad the rider didn't.

Well we haven't been down for a couple years but we will be there this year. Justin will be riding with Jason Wade.

Re: Vegas to Reno

Will you be running your KTM? Soon you can just buy a Polaris Outlaw 525 and get the same engine.......

Re: Vegas to Reno

well i havent started yet on the bike. been waiting for parts. before i get into it. figure i still have a couple weeks. ed, i see you picked up a 3rd rider. oh and when you guys pass me try not yo kick up to much dust. lol! any of the rest of you read the flyer yet that came with the map? seems to me that there really no racing for the frist 17 miles. start to mile 9 is a non race speed transfer section and 10 to 17 is a no pass zone. there is going to be a land rush at 17. cuz we'll all be bunched up behind the slower motorcycles. makes you wonder? would be nice if they would let the expert quads start in front of the amie bikes and iron man classes.

Re: Vegas to Reno

Yes, we will be running the KTM R. I think it's great that Polaris put the KTM motor in the Outlaw. I would love to get my hands on one and try it out.

Eric - I don't know if we will catch you. You never now what happens out there. If I do and I'm on the quad, I promise to not roost until I am far enough away. I usually try not to bombard people with rocks when I pass them.
