PARKER 250!!!

Well lets start it off!!!


Eric/Marc, Shaun/Phil-

I'll be at the alternate pit so make sure you get your stuff to me unless one of you two will be at the alt. pit. Ill be there Friday for contigency.

Anyone else that may need help let me know I'll be more than happy to help!

I am not sure if we are going to have any help to put in the alt. pit. We may take you up on that offer.

ok as of right now it looks as if I have to ironman it...tough fo rthe first time out...unless someone shows up to help I may also require some help ...what is the lap distance? what is the terrain like. I raced there in cars some time back and it didn't seem to bad...anyone rememeber?

I htink lap distance is 72 miles... (?)

this is by far the best race to ironman. lots of graded roads and the wash towards the end of the lap will be smooth the first time through with whoops forming by the 3rd lap.
I too am ironmaning this, again.

cool ....I thought that ...just wanted to be sure...may send out some gas and tires if possible ...max, anyone know about how many miles we can get to a tank, I have a dsert tank on the 450R basically stock motor...shoudl be able to do a lap correct?

Robert,

On the TRX we've gotten anywhere from 65 to 75 miles on a tank with a fairly stock engine and an IMS 3.8 gal. tank. The Raptor could go easily 100 miles before fuelin'. I would say carry an extra qt. on you or the bike just in case or do a splash-and-go at the alt. pit. When I raced and before I had my 5.6 gal tank on the ol' 'shee I carried a 1 qt. engine oil bottle tapped between the frame and front bumper. Never had to use it but it beats pushing your quad.
