What happened to my 450r....

Well the keepers on the intake valves fell off, and i also had a weak decompression spring(?)

which all according to my mechanic was probably a factory defect..since the keepers wont come off unless you over rev it, and you cant over rev it since theres a rev limiter....

ok now you all know...

What a bummer Shaun! HMMM, things that never happen hardly at all, waterpumps and valvekeepers.......Better start going to church on Sundays, lol.......
Hopefully the valve didnt drop and damage the piston.

Re: What happened to my 450r....

yea i run works pro series with remote rez up front and
works ultracross on back.
my back we have been working and working with the stollen elka linkage. but haven't got it just perfect yet. also for our mx and dune set up we have moved the linkage mount on the swingarm.
i use laeger all the way around. a +1.25 swingarm.

is anyone else using this swingarm.

had to miss the v2r but i'm still here.

Re: What happened to my 450r....

yea i use laeger protrax (t-pin) front end.it comes with steering stem, spindles,a-arms,tie rods. and leager swingarm. they are only making +1.25.

that is the hard part for desert. you need to custom cut and bend your skidplate. i modify a dg fat series.i am worried about the skid plate lasting a rough race course. but it seems to do alright out practicing.

Re: What happened to my 450r....

Is teh T-pin a +2/+1? Do you use 3+2 or 4+1 wheels?
