big gun pipe. and best motox tires?

hi does anyone in here have a big gun race pipe on there yfz450? if they do big gun is one of the worst companies to deal with my header cracked right down one of the seams on the side and they say i ran it lean when i ran the bike at there jetting specs and they also say that because i ran race fuel that they wont warranty it, and they tried to sell me a scratch and dent, so i told them to jam it and i ordered a yoshi pipe so much better copmany to deal with. also what does every one think is the best motox tire out there? im leaning towards terf tamers but dont really like what they look like. any suggestions or coments would be greatfull thanks.

Look at the kenda and the Maxxis MX tires. Both good choices.

Thank you very much for the input. What do you think of the turf tamers?

some 18" turf tamers are the choice of many MX riders as well, they are great on hardpack terrain, you can also custom groove them, cut off select knobs to obtain desired characteristics. they stink in soft, sand & mud though.

Re: big gun pipe. and best motox tires?

I've been running Big Gun for years both on my raptors and currently on my YFZ. I have had no problems with it at all. I did have 1 issue with them right before the Nevada 1000 concerning a Spark Arrestor and they saw my need and overnighted the arrestor to me without any costs. As far as their jetting specs go, they have a few different specs, they have to know everything that is done to the quad in order to give a proper jetting reference. Also, the fuel mixture screw plays a pretty big role in it. As far as the race gas goes, I don't see where that would be any issue for the pipe cracking. So to answer your question, yes I run a Big Gun race series, and no I have not had any problems with it. As far as tires go, I ran Holeshot XCT's in the desert last year and the year before, but now I am running Kenda's for both MX and as soon as it's ready, for desert.
