Should Jon buy a Warrior or 300ex???

Should my friend Jon buy a new warrior or 300ex?? This will be his first quad. He's 5'10" 190lbs. Which bike has a better power band? Which has the better suspension? Which has more suspension travel? Which is the better overall buy? We will be doing alot of hard packed dezert riding with occasional trips to the dunes...

Re: Should Jon buy a Warrior or 300ex???

they have almost the same suspention, the Warrior has reverse, the Warrior has more power, and the Warrior has been in production longer so it has a stronger track record, I pick the Warrior

Re: Should Jon buy a Warrior or 300ex???

i agree with raptor_rider...there is really no decision to make with the 300ex vs the Warrior...its all Warrior. now the 400ex vs the Warrior is a better comparison and i still give the edge to the Warrior. hope this helps

I would go with the warrior as well, it has more power, its a bigger machine, longer wheelbase, better from the get go. The warrior is a great machine.

Re: Should Jon buy a Warrior or 300ex???

Just to throw my 2 cents in, the 300ex has reverse also but I don't know how the Warrior starts if its kick or button but the 300ex is button start no kickstart backup which is a bummer I hope if my little battery ever decides to die on me I hope I'm on a hill
