hi-comp warrior piston

Looking for opinions on the 10.5:1 piston for warriors. I own an 88 and am going to rebuild the motor this winter with a WB cam, springs and new piston. The quad already has a K&N and Supertrapp pipe.

My question is that I heard from two owners that have used the 10.5:1 piston that they had connecting rod to crank bearing failure within 50 hrs of riding. Has anyone else had this problem? I would hate to have to split my crank unless I really need to. At this point I don't know if I should trust their "wrenching" abilities.

Thanks.
