Jetting Chart ??

I have a 2001 Honda FourmanES (433cc) with stock low altitude jet, I live in Texas & this works fine BUT I'm going to Colo. and will be at 8,000'-13,500' (Honda dealers & manuals are NO help, there High Altitude jet is optimized for 5,000')

QUESTION:
Where can I find a "Jetting Chart" or other ref.?

Re: Jetting Chart ??

i wouldn't be too concerned, ive ridden with lots of quads up to 9,500 feet and none of them rejetted. alt does not affect a 4 stroke near as much as a 2 stroke.

BUT the honda dealer should have one

or you could just see what # your jet is and buy one 10 leaner (smaller number) and one 20 leaner and use them if your quad starts to bog with the stocker at alt. just remember to change back when coming back down

Re: Jetting Chart ??

You could probably get away with dropping the needle all the way down and not be hurting too much.

Edelbrock Performer Series intake and carb, Tri-Y headers, K&N filter, 2 1/2" dual exhaust, 14 bolt FF rear.

Re: Jetting Chart ??

ok...what my nephew did is found a shop up there where he was going (Colo. Springs) and he had the shop rejet it...it took about 15 minutes and $25.....that is the BEST way to do it....they know the altitude and what to set the jets at for best performance....
