bad crash

last weekend we went to sycamore creek to rip it up for a couple of hours but when we pulled in alitle down the road there as a guy laying on the gound with his frind at his face. He flaged us down and was can you guys help me my friend crashed we said yes and my dad was like i have my cell phone do you want me to call 911? the guy said yopu can try but like 5 other peopl couldent get reception way out there. we walke over to this guy, he was prety big atleast 240 pounds he was on his back blood driping out of his ear head in a puddle of blood, and he was gargaling on blood. finaly some one came up and said that they got a forest ranger to get help and acouple of other people got through with there cells. we didnt realy know what to do, we tryed pincing him asking him if he could hear us but we couldent get no responce. luckaly there was a guy there that was a respratory specialist so he took his pulse and all of that, he had a good pulse. so we put a wet rag on his head and a wind sheild cover over him to try and keep the hot, bright ass sun off him. finaly paramedics arived, it took like 5 peopel to roal him on to a back board, my friend who is a life gaurd held his neck incase it was broken and he woke up, me and my other friend had to strap him to the board. then another ambulace arived and after he was secured they tryed to put a tube down his throught to help him breathe, they couldent to they had to cut a hole in his neck and stick a tube in there while thet did that he started to heve convulsions and bouce around. when they got the tube in his neck it stared gushing blood and my frinde got sick and hat go and calm him self. finaly a helicopter arived and they took him away in critical condition. i helped his friend put his quad in his truck which was a brand spanking new raptor the weird thing was it didnt have a scratch on it. the guy said that he was flying down the road and a kid jumped out onto the road and he must have goten scared and turned to hard and dugin and flew off his quad and hit his head. the other kid also flew off but only got a few scratches and brusies. the kid had a helmet but the guy didnt and that is why he had such bad injuries. one of the paramedics said that both of his cheek bones where broken but that was it. im not sure if the guy lived or what but knowing the injuries and what he has to go through even if he did live will always make me wear a helmet when i am riding.

Re: bad crash

Man, that is bad... Really bad, whenever I went riding I always wore my helmit, but there was times I didn't, I recall one time me and my friend was hauling 55-60 on my uncles 400 sport on a gravel road I lived on, it was pretty scary... Well I hope the guy is okay... btw, how old was he?
