heres the deal . .i know you're good wit bikes. . so my ol XL100 dirt bike is not workin right. . she dont wanna rev up . but then all of a sudden if u push her hard.. she'll rev normal again. . .al lthe while she wont idle .. im thinkin it could be the timing advance system jamming. what do u think? .. clearer posts are on the dirt biek board. .i just saw u on and hoped ot catch u

hey im flattered that you think im good with bikes!!! hehe i really dont think i am though!..i really dont have much of a clue...what events led up to it? any mods or work dont to engine or intake/exaust prior?? your guess would be as good as mine on this...im sure some of the guys here can tell ya

Your valves could be too tight. They could be too loose, one could not be closin all they way, one could not be opening all the way, one could be cracked...there is soooo many things that could cause that bike to do that dude, i just sent mine to the shop, cuz she was runnin like crap after i rebuilt it...So in all reality, if you don't wanna spend the money to send it to the shop, and if you have an owners manual, check the valves, they're everything.

K, but are you positive? if they are even like 100/th of a mm off they will make it run wrong. I don't know what to tell ya...
