big bad banshee bushings

my shee needs bushings in the front controll arms (J arm year) anyone know of a good place to get these for cheep? yamaha wants 9.20 a piece and there are 12 of em in there i think i have seen them for 6 bucks a pop somewhere...but anyway what place has good prices on them?

WOw these suckers are expensive! I did some checkin up at Toomey's website. They are selling brass bushings for $10ea, or $100 for the J arm set of 12.

1oo bucks for a set doesnt seem *that* bad for 12 that is umm about $8.30 a piece..ok maybe it is that bad....thats alot for a lil piece of brass and i bet these effers are gonna be a pain in the butt to get in/out too..thanks for that info though

Check Ebay. I remember seeing them there but I can't remember the price. $40 maybe? Might be junk, but its a cool spot to shop for misc banshee parts.

warr....check on replacing the Jarms with Aarms... you can probably make the change over somewhat respectably with the money you are going to spend in bushings....and the new arms come with the bushings already...

Air,
After a close encounter with an ironwood tree a few years ago, I paid $110 for an upper A-arm from a Yamaha dealer, and the damn thing didn't come with bushings or even a zerk!! Are J-arms that bad? I don't know...

i think an A arm conversion is out of the question now..it would be much cheaper to just get the bushings...maybe down the road when it is all fixed up and i need something more to spend money on i will
