Worn Clutch

Hey guys, the clutch is gettin bad on my 86 YFM225 Moto 4. . If you dont know the bike, its your basic quad. Manual shift but no manual clutch. Anyways, the clutch is startin to slip a lot .. and its terrible . .i can't adjust it any more, so i gotta replace. I was just makin sure, will i only have to replace the plates, or will i have to replace the springs too?

Re: Worn Clutch

pending on how bad it is , you can look at the plates , if they are burnt in alot of spots you should replace all the parts , plates , discs , and springs, if its not worn that bad and you dont have alot of burnt spots , but the plates are warped then replace the discs, and plates , if there isnt any burnt spots, and the plates look great you should be able to get away with just putting discs in it
