Holeshots or Razr\'s

I need some new tires for my beadlocks and I can't decide between the holeshots or the razr's. What is everyone elses thoughts? Has anyone ridden on both sets of tires? Which tires are going to last longer? I'll be racing and just riding for fun no mudding or anything like that. My quad staying out of water and mud. Thanks for the help.

Re: Holeshots or Razr\'s

I have holeshots on my Banshee, been running them for two years, and they are still good enough for another
I hear the Maxxis Razrs are a little softer, so they wont last as long but you will get better traction
for me the next tires I am going to get are the Razrs

Re: Holeshots or Razr\'s

Go with the razr's.They won't last as long but have a lot more traction.A friend of mine has just bought holeshots because they last longer-he now is going to sell them for razr's.The "holeshot" of the razr is much better.

Re: Holeshots or Razr\'s

i dont know if your zilla is like mine or not but mine never stops spinning the tires so i went with the holeshots because my dad ran razors on his zilla and he wasted them in no time at all and those are dam expensive tires and to be honest i dont think that the razors give you that much more traction over the holeshots but that is my personal opoinon

may my zilla live forever

Re: Holeshots or Razr\'s

I've never run the Razor's but I do love the Holeshots. I ran a set on the rear of my blaster and now I just got a set for my banshee, what a huge difference compared to those crappy stock tires and I know they lasted quite a while on my blaster so I dont see a problem with the holeshots. My .02

Re: Holeshots or Razr\'s

Ive run Holeshots on my Banshee, and they seem to get ok traction, and handle really well. They dont hold air very good, but that is a different story.

Never run the Razors so i cant comment.

Re: Holeshots or Razr\'s

Holeshots are a harder rubber, they will outlast the razrs, but not by much.

I have holeshots on my shee...had razrs on it...and have had shredders on it...my pick in order would be

1. holeshots
2. razrs
3. anything but shredders

The holeshots get really good traction out of the hole for me and i ride a variety of terrian...i would say that the razrs would be a good tire too...

but if you have an extreme amount of power, you may want to consider the harder rubber...the more power means more spin...means the tires will tear up faster...

both tires hook up about the same....depending on the terrian one is maybe a lil better then the other...

whatever you decide...Good Luck!!
