muffler help

what baffles would be good to use in a stainless steel pipe. I was thing of putting big washers in there. (some how?) any ideas, don't say buy a new muffle for $350 dollers which would almost be worth more than my bike.

what kind of bike are you riding? is it a 4 stroke or a 2 stroke? if it is a 2 stroke then you can just get a fiberglass repack kit and repack the silencer. i am not sure what you mean by baffles

Hey bud. Got an idea for u . We put one of them propane tanks on the back of one . U know the kind, the ones u use for a heat torch. We drilled out the top, drilled four oles in the bottom... Then we cut her in two, ran two little pieces of pipe ( u know. like a silencer) and packed it. Then we welded it b ack together, and welded it onto the end of the pipe. Just an idea for u. .

It a four stroke bike. I know a guy once who made one for his truck out of s pipe than put big washers in the end of it. I remember it sound real nice and they last forever. I forget how he welded the washers in though. He worked at a mill and got it all for free it toak him a week to make it out of thick stainless steel.
