Cup Lites!!

Check these things out, explore the website...http://www.cuplites.com. I just went to the chemung speedrome and watched some of them tonight, about 20 of them, they use snowmobile engines in a 3/4 scale nascar go-cart type frame. The 700cc yamaha triples(snowmobiles) engines put out 135 hp, these cars were doin 79 mph, and that is great for how small the track was. They also had nascar super modified big block V8's puttin out like 450 ponies, they were loud...

Re: Cup Lites!!

For info, the track was only a 1/2 mile oval, and they were hittin damn near 80...the supermodifieds were hittin triple digits, and wreckin pretty hard, i wanted to see drag racing quads on the track...

Re: Cup Lites!!

LOL, that would be wicked to stuff a snowmobile engine into a racing go cart frame, but it would be a lot of work to make it run right...
