Wheel spacers - good or bad ??

I'm curious if anybody has had any bad experiences with wheel spacers (such as the durablue ez-fit). Can they put additional stress on the axels/a-arms and actually do damage to the quad. I'm thinking of putting 1.5 inch spacers in the front and 2.5 inch in the rear of my Raptor but am a little worried about the unexpected results.

Re: Wheel spacers - good or bad ??

I had Dura blue spacers on an 85 350x and the bolts they supplied were way to small diameter. Could not center everything up and got vibration.

Had to drill out the spacers and hubs to fit bigger 7/16" bolts.

Now i run an extended axle on my Banshee.

Re: Wheel spacers - good or bad ??

I have the Dura Blue spacers on one of my Blasters they are kinda tricky centering like cleartoy said , and if you plan on jumping it much , I dont recamend them but if you arent going to jump and you can drill out the hubs so everything is centered they work alright , but I STRONGLY suggest you use a wider axle, I did and LOVE it

Re: Wheel spacers - good or bad ??

Thanks for the info. Are the spacers you use on the Blaster the "EZ-fit" or the regular (I think the difference is that the regular ones require removing the OEM studs and the EZ-fits do not)....I agree that extended axels are the proper way, but $$$$...

Some jumping is okay just not big air as the axle will bend.
