Cleaning Stock Air Filter

I am finding that I am doing a lot more riding in the sand than I had originally thought I would. This means that my air filter gets dirty 10-times as fast.

I am holding off until the K&N filter is made available for my Raptor so I am stuck with the stock setup.

So my question is what kind of cleaner can I use to clean the filter without damaging it...?

I have had people tell me to use everything from gasoline to solvent to soap and water.

Re: Cleaning Stock Air Filter

I run solvent backwards through mine, flushing the dirt out the opposite way it went in , then I wash it in soap and water (dawn dish soap) blow dry with compressed air then oil it
