Got it! Love it! Thanks!

Well, we got a Honda 250EX this weekend! And the whole family loves it! Even my 10 year old was able to ride it by herself. My husband was surprised by the power and speed. And my 13 year old daughter's friends (the boys, of course) were suitably impressed! A good time was had by all! Thanks to all of you for your help! Not only did you help us decide what to buy, we had enough info to be able to talk to the salesman without looking totally stupid. MY yard was full of kids and 4wheelers this weekend, what a blast! I was still laughing on my way to work this AM. Thanks again! Jan

The first thing we did was to get helmets and goggles. Good thing too, my oldest got a little cocky, went too fast, and sure enough, hit something. If she hadn't been wearing her helmut, she could have been seriously hurt. The good thing about the experience is that she now pays attention at all times and no more showing off! She learned a little respect for the machine!

Re: Got it! Love it! Thanks!

we all had to learn a little respect for our machines at one time or another

Good choice on the machine , I would have gone with that one or the Blaster , either one is a GREAT machine

Have fun with it , I know all my kids , wife & I do

Re: Got it! Love it! Thanks!

We live on a 5 acre lot - My husband turned the backyard into a track for my daughters and a couple of their friends - they were very busy moving dirt and making jumps this weekend. Who wanted a green lawn anyway?! And if they're not on the 'track' - then they out on the trails! This includes my husband! There has already been discussion of getting a second atv. Yeah, I think they enjoy it!
