what to buy?

i"m looking to but my first quad and i'm no tsure what to buy. I've riddin mostly big 4x4's(RUBICON). but i don't think i need the full time four wheel drive. I'm about 220lbs. and 6' tall. i like to go fast and wheelie but do alot of ridding in woods with trail as you go ridding
i'm cosidering the 400ex and the rancher 4x4

Look into the Polaris quads...Magnum, Sportsman, Explorer.

no thanks i've seen polaris dealers turn down a polaris trade in that was bought from the same showroom floor there just not as high quality.

if you are just going to ride for fun get a sport quad...but if you will be doing work with it go for a sport/utility...depends what you are going to be using it for..

Yeah like 98 Warrior says...if you want sport/utility your choices are limited to the kodiak(kinda sporty) and the Wolverine, or the new kawi 650(don't they say its sport utility)

I've read up on the Kaw. praire 650 V-Twin nice machine but if your going to weelie then no on the Kaw.

have you ever sat on a 400EX ? at 6'2" you wont fit , the bike would just be toooo small

I think if I were you I would look at either the Raptor or (I hate to admitt it ) a DS650

sorry raptor rider i disagree with ya on that one...I am 6'1" and I fit fine on a banshee raptor and EVEN the 400EX...now dont go gettin ur undies in a bundle!!! ahahaha....I have ridden them before and I did not feel uncomfortable at all... The DS??? I wouldnt recommend that to Frankenstien!!!!

I second AirBorn's comment. I'm 6'2" and the 400EX feels very comfortable. I'm all legs, so my knees are a little high but not awkward.

Gearheads do it greasy!

yah you will fit fine on an ex, dont listen to anyone who says otherwise, i am 6'4 and a half.


leave the stickers on the bentley to show the price
