Thinking about buying ATV

Hey,

Need help on where to look and what for. Would like to buy used and fairly new though. I would be using it to play mostly and in the woods.

I'm looking at the Banshee, Blaster, and Wolverine. Any others I should be aware of that are good mostly play-multipurpose ATV's.

Where can I find some to look at online and maybe buy?

TIA,
John

Re: Thinking about buying ATV

sounds like what you need is a Warrior...they are pretty fast and are good versatile machines. blasters and banshees are nice machines as well, but they are pretty much in the hi-performance sport category only though. the Wolverine would be a good choice if you need 4wd, but it is a full time 4wd machine. before you purchase try to ride as many of the quads you are looking at and see which one feels better to you. how long have you been riding? i would only recommend a banshee to anyone who has lots of experience, just because those machines put out some serious power. the blaster is a great entry level quad, and a great play quad for the experienced rider as well.

as to where to buy one , i would venture to say that you would find a good deal in one of your local papers, or at a local dealership. hope some of this helps.

Re: Thinking about buying ATV

Warrior seems to be what you are looking for. Also look at the 400 ex but with the warrior you can get lots of aftermarket stuff and make it faster than the 400. Ask 98Warrior bout that I think he just bought a bunch of mods.

Re: Thinking about buying ATV

i got new tires all around which made the handling and traction worlds better and put a slip on pipe which gave it better power and throttle response...if you are new to sport quads a stock one will have sufficient power...

Re: Thinking about buying ATV

DITTO , the warrior is a real nice machine , proven dependable , and if its not fast enough there are tons of mods that will make it fast , but dont count out the 400 EX
