My Honda Foreman started blowing smoke today while riding. It mostly lets loosa a cloud while the engine is braking. Luckily I had a quart of oil with me and it took it all. I turned around and went back home (about 13 miles) and had to put another quart in it. Other than the smoke the it runs fine. There's no odd noise, vibrations, etc. and no let off in power. Any ideas what's up with it.
white smoke?? are u sure it was oil that was burning??? by nature oil will burn with a blue tint... white is normally associated with anti freeze and water....sounds like a possible breech of head gasket? THat can give both anti-freeze and oil burning....just a thought
