i would have to agree with raptor_rider, the Polaris 4x4's seem hard to beat. Also if i were you i would look at the new Prairie 650 from Kawasaki, that looks like it is going to be an awesome machine. but if you have to have one of the 2 quads you mentioned, i would go with the Grizzly.

the RUBICON is clearly the better choice it had a hydraulic transmission that is ultra smoothe and tough i've ridden both and would never consider the sportsman (unreliable belt transmission) it just dosn't compare. beside i've pulled some hughe ass loggs and stumps that would have somked the polaris belt. why do think earth movers use hydraulyic power and not belt
I am a definate Polaris supporter. But for heavy towing, the Honda's gear mesh tranny may be a little stronger. You will lose a large amount of ground clearance for driving over logs though. Also, the Honda rides like a tank at speed through trails.
Hey dcn4x4, don't u think that the yamaha, suzuki, kawi, arctic cats belts slip. When you compare the Sportsman 500 HO to any 4x4 its clearly the best. It has more power than the grizz, which is old and in need for a makeover. You seem to be vary against Polaris.
I personally like the polaris...it rides nicer and can do just as much as the rubicon....the rubicon is nice but the one that i rode i felt like i was sitting wayyyyy to high....
polaris 500 sportsman gets my vote
