New ATV game

I was wondering if anybody else got to play the new atv game on the ps2?

If anyone cares here is what I think of it:
Its the best atv game I have yet seen, good graphics and good game play, makes for a great game. Many of the bikes in it are real(even though their abilities in the game are not). and playing it is fun..
Since I do ride ATV's there are a few things i find disturbing in it, like getting 100 feet of air off of a 2 foot jump with only 20 feet to gain speed seems just a little overboard. Also tricks that are easy in real life don't alway's work in the game, but you can do knack knack's and superman's on the learners track if you want. The physics in the game are good but only semi-realistic - i wish i could really have the ability to move my bike in the air in real life as you do in the game. also When you crash you don't get reset as quickly as your computer opponents do. I won't even go into the helicopter that flys 30 feet over one of the tracks while you race on it.
I guess all of the above is to make it more appealing, and if you don't ride atv's you probally would never notice these things. In the end it's a good game, but there is nothing like rideing for real.

Re: New ATV game

Let's see if I can remember the bikes...
honda 300ex and 400ex (red or yellow), kawe's mohave and lacota, yamaha's blaster, banshee, and warrior (all yammies in blue or black). Polaris 400 and 500 models (don't think they specify the type). plus they have raptor and honda 250r looking bikes under different names - probably from befor they got the right's to the other bike names or to have some type of aftermarket type support.
I have tried the ps1 quad game and it sucked, featuring race quads with independant rear suspension, they handeled like rc cars would. Don't know about any other system's game's.
Airborn It's ashame about sony dumping the dreamcast support, If i didn't get a ps2 on the first day it came out (didn't even have to stand on line for it) I would have went for the dreamcast. I figured that half the time i spent on the computer went to games, so why not get a dedicated system, and when I did maturity dropped by ten years(my girlfriend says it wasn't too high to begin with). Besides it is something to do at 12 in the morning when I cant get to sleep. I am currently getting into the also defunct neo geo pocket game system that links up to the dreamcast system, you are soppose to play vrs games and trade info between them. Its pretty good being a 16 bit portable system, way better than gameboy, and a grood alternative to all the porn that the guys keep in the shop i work for to read during break time, but unfortionatly neo geo all but shut down in the US so it's a bitch to get games for.
