front tires

ok i ave gotten some money saved and i am thinking of getting so new front tires to replace the outstandingly sucky stock units...i am thinking maxxis rarzs. i heard they wear better than holeshots. and even though i have bandit rears i dont think i want them up front because i dont like the flat profile of them and im not as concerned about tire wear up front as i am about the back tires. so any thoughts on these tires?

Re: front tires

well, I have not decided what I like for fronts either...currently I have shredders up front, and I am waiting for them to waste away before I buy new ones...
I was looking at the holeshots personally...I dont like the shredders that much...

The razrs are almost identical to the holeshots...they are the same rubber and almost identical tread pattern...so I would run either of those...

Re: front tires

nice fast reply...i heard the razrs wear alittle better than holeshots and the holeshots are know to have sidewall leaks so they go flat when the sit awhile

Re: front tires

well my rears are coming off the rims cuz they loose air if not used for a while....it pisses me off...so I am thinking either remove them and see if its a bead leak...or just run some of that goober inside them to plug leaks...not sure what i wanna do yet...

Re: front tires

i wouldnt put the goober stuff in it...i did that about 2 weeks ago to my CR's front tire and it aired it up. until i came down the first tabletop jump in turn 2 at our homemade MX track and the tire went flat. i dont know what it did, but when i put a new tube in it, it was a mess with that stuff everywhere in there. i would advise to break it down and see if its a bead leak.
