Haven't seen nothing out far as swingarms yet.... Might comcider having it lengthened- or a custom one built.

Re: Need to Stretch out my Raptor!

Saw an ad in feb issue of Dirt Wheels, just looked it up for you. Its from Hy-Tech ATV, it says "Now taking orders for Yamaha Rapter Ext. Swingarm Complete W/ Billet Carrier" It didnt say a price or anything, thats an exact quote from the magazine. There website is http://www.hy-tech-atv.com and there phone is 909-794-5776. Hope this helps somehow.

Re: Need to Stretch out my Raptor!

I had my stock swing arm extended 4 inches by Pyramid welding in Central Point, OR. The cost was about $200.00. The results are awsome! I can kick some serious banshee butt now! Other mods include pro circuit pipe, custom turn down for decibel req. (93), lowered the gears and rejetted the carbs. After rejetting the carbs the Raptor came to life! It sounds like a Harley and runs on pump gas unlike my zilla!

Re: Need to Stretch out my Raptor!

In what fashion did you gear down ? 1 tooth smaller on front , or 2 teeth larger on the rear ? I was thinking of going 2 larger on the rear , if you go smaller on the front you will wear out the chain guides faster (so I hear)

Re: Need to Stretch out my Raptor!

Sorry it took me so long to get back here! I went one tooth smaller on the front sprocket. It made a big difference in the torque.
If you increase the rear sprocket size any larger you will have to put washers under your skid plate mounting bolts.

Re: Need to Stretch out my Raptor!

I just got my GYT-R skid plate , I think I would rather shim it down as apposed to wearing out my chain gaurd
