Blaster Oil Injector block off

Do you have to buy a block off kit for a blaster? I have heard of some people just taking the plastic gear off. If I should buy the block off kit, is there and internet site were i can buy one from. and is 32:1 a good ratio?

Re: Blaster Oil Injector block off

I would remove it all together, in the event you wanted it reinstalled later. mixture should be ok but you will need to raise you main jet about 3 numbers. when you mix the oil and gas that reduces the amount of fuel and therefore will lean out the engine on the top end, and could burn a piston. a 32-1 ratio is about 3% which works out to 2-3 number increases.

No internet site that I know of. Yes, it's a good investment. You can just remove the gear, but the kits are about 25 bucks.

No jetting change should be needed. You are moving from a 20:1 mix to a 32:1. If anything, it will run richer on the pre-mix.
