I installed the K&N recalibration kit recently in my '01 300EX- stage 2 jets/needle with (8) 1" holes in my airbox lid with Uni-filter plugs in the holes. I will be installing a FMF Megamax II system this week when it comes in. Its gonna run a lot better than stock.
My question is, this set up should pull an extra tooth on the counter shaft with no problem, right? Can I do this with out adding extra masterlinks to my stock chain? I want the acceleration but I need a few more MPH on the top end bad. I gotta try as best I can to keep up with my friends 400EX and Banshee.
