98\"grizzly won\'t idle

i have a 98"grizzly, when the engine is cold it idles and runs great but after it warms up {about 20-30 min at idle} the idle starts to vary 400-500 rpm up and down. when I burp the throttle it stalls. When I am riding and not at idle it runs good. I put a carb on from another grizzly and it does the same thing. What should i try next?

did you try ajusting the idle speed on the carb?? there should be a screw, turn it out until it idles correctly

check to see if the throttle cable is too loose. I had the same symptoms on my polaris and found the TT cable was too long. I shortened the cable just a hair and it took care of the problem

Sounds like your machine can't breath. Did you check your spark arrestor to see if it might be plugged? Also, since you said you changed carbs I assume you check and cleaned your air filter.
