yamaha moto 4 ?\'s
I just got a Yamaha Moto 4 (80cc) for my little brother. I am wondering how much parts go for on them. It needs a throttle-cable, starter, tires and an air-filter. I would also like to know the good things about and bad things about this particuler model. I am not sure of it's year. Any one who has knowledge of how to find out please tell me how. Thanks in advance.

Re: yamaha moto 4 ?\'s
parts are`nt cheap for these little quads i just reworked the top end on an `87 model new piston, rings, gaskets and having the cylinder bored was 200 bucks not counting labor. you might find used parts at salvage yards, look in the back of atv magazines, good luck!

Re: yamaha moto 4 ?\'s
Thanks, I got a price over 200 bucks for the starter, I was afraid to ask about the carb. The motor seems to be flawless, sounds like good compression, and it looks like it has never been opened (I look at it like good news there). But I thank you for the tip about magazine's. I am into 4x4 trucks, but my little brother is starting an interest in machines and this is what we could afford so now I am on to a new learning chapter in my life. You guys may hear more from me from time to time.
