Yamaha Raptor-Revised

I recently purchased a raptor and am pleased with it's performance, except for in reverse. It bogs down and dies when i'm stuck and i can't give it much RPM or it will kill.I called and talked to yamaha, who said that they have put a RPM limiting circuit for reverse gear on them. They said that this was a safety feature. It is a bogus feature.I have tried to disconnect it but so far i have been unsuccessful. Is there anyone out there who has bypassed this circuit and could tell me how to do it?

Re: Yamaha Raptor-Revised

I've noticed the same thing with my 1 1/2 week old 2001. It only happens every once and awhile though. I guess the good thing is that it keeps me from going mach speed in reverse!
