warrior pipe

ok i have gotten some money saved up and i am looking to buy a pipe, the ones that are cheapest (excluding cobra and dg decided againts them) are the fmf megamax and the supertrapp ids2 which are like 170-180 the rest like the big gun powercore4 and white bros units are like 250-300 which i think is a bit much...it doesnt seem like they can be worth it maybe they are shinier and have more of a name...and the megamax and ids2 are ajustable which i like...so what one of those are better the fmf or the ids2?? or are there any pipes i havnt found that are not expensive(sub 200)so im really only looking at those 2 unless you can convince me that the extra 80-120 bucks is worth it...thanks for your input..

Re: warrior pipe

Big Gun enhance the Warrior's abilities the most by far. Tuneable exhaust systems are junk, flat out. They losen over time and are just as load as race pipes. My buddy has a 01 Warrior and mine is a 00 model. They are basically the same. He has the FMF Megamax and I run the B.G. Mine is not near as loud as his side by side, however my BG is way lighter and more efficient(it has a seperate combustion chamber toward the silencer, FMF doesn't). In conjunction with the factory header, you can't do any better than Big Gun. I got mine for $220 brand new. Shop around for deals. BTW, I had a DG complete system for about 2 weeks - BIGGEST PIECE OF JUNK I'VE LET NEAR MY BIKE!!! My two cents...Good Luck...
