I got my first ATV

After years of drooling over others having them I finally got my first atv.

With my life (according to statistics) half over, never having driven one before(they never offered & I never
asked) I am the proud owner of a Grizzly.
The main reason I got the Yamaha was the financing, they made it all possible($119.oo a month for the 1st 2 years!-no money down).

I needed an automatic(for the wife , I like it too.) with the power for some farming chores.

I like the features I read & seen on the Articat 500's , Polaris Sportsman 500's & others, if Honda
had the 500 Recon auto out I might have bought it, there are not many dealers in my rual area, I didn't want to have to haul it too far for maintenance & repairs in the future, the Yamaha
dealer is close buy.

I hope I made a good choice, like I stated earlier. I look forward to chatting with all of you in the future
I hope to be welcomed to the club by all of you
experienced enthusiasts.

I beleive all the brands I mentioned I would be happy with but Yamahas finacing
deal that ended with my dealership on the 31st made it possible, we bought ours
on the 30th.
Thanks for reading,
JJ

Yoy won't be disappointed. Yamaha is very dependable. You won't go lacking for power.

Re: I got my first ATV

That's cool, you got a Yamaha. My man has Yamaha quad, but not for farming chores. He tears up the sand in the desert. I personally (attempt to) ride a 2 wheeler.
Just noticed, though, something that I see sortof often, and it makes me wonder; why do you have to have an automatic "for the wife"? Don't forget, women can shift, too! I understand maybe for farming chores, as you say, but not just for a female...
Just putting in my opinion. Thats what it's all about, right?
Have fun!

Thanks fot the encouraging words TxDoc2. Xdirtygirl-
How biased of me to write that, I should of stated she prefers an automatic, she could
shift if she wanted to for sure, she owned a four speed car when we met.

Re: I got my first ATV

Think nothing of it. I was just on one of those "women can do what men can do" kicks. I have relatively recently learned to drive a 5 speed truck (I love it, perfer it), but shifting on a bike is so much different. Incredibly different. I haven't actually completely gotten the hang of it yet. I was just saying that we can learn how to do it.
See ya
