living in central conn. gives you a few options if you have a means to transport your ride. If you register your quad with the mass. DEM ( they have an office in springfield )there are a lot of trails (state parks ).I live in R.I. and travel there myself, day trips or over-night camp-outs. They don't hassle you but, they REALLY REALLY stress TREAD LIGHTLY and noise suppresion. The rangers do stop you on occasion but there very cool, usually they just want to check your registration.
