Rancher or Foreman?

I am about to buy either a Rancher or Foreman (4x4 ES) and am having trouble deciding which one is better for me. I'll be using it 50/50 for work and play. I need good towing power for general ranch work but really want to have fun with it. They have the same stats for capacities but nothing is worse than not having enough power. Any thoughts?

A honda would be the one I would pic, because of it's reliability,

Re: Rancher or Foreman?

Buy as much HP as you can afford. The Rancher is a nice machine, but the Foreman does have more power. My buddy has a Rancher, and there are hills that I can climb that he couldn't. There's no replacement for displacement!

i would also pick the foreman. don't get me wrong, because the rancher is an awsome machine. but the foreman is better. if i would get one i would put vampires all the way around it. then it would be a very bad machine.

Have you considered the Honda Rubicon?

yea, the only bad thing about the rubicon is that it is an automatic. and in my opinion automatics sink, bad. it doesn't matter who makes it.

It has the ability to switch to ES shift also. Why do you think they sink?

Thanks for all of the posts. It's a big help. I'm going crazy waiting but didn't want to make the wrong choice.
