Dynoport pipe inst.
I have a 99 Banshee, It has a mid range port job, 32:1 fuel/oil mix and has been bored.020" wiesco's, Carbon Tech reeds and reed spacers, K&N filter and stage III jet kit with 25 pilots, clip in #3 slot on the needle and 290 mains in the stock mikuni's with the stock pipes and the pilot air adjusting screew is suppose to be 2 1/2 turns out, but at this adjustment it has a bad lowend bogg, to get rid of the bogg, I adjusted the mixture screw out 1/2 turn and it runs greet no bogg but didn't have the grunt/tourqe at low speeds so I installed a Dynoport 2 into 1 pipe and silencer and didn't make any adjustment anywhere. After a good warm up and a few slow lapps in the yard, I took it to the woods.
Man this machine rip up the steepest hill around here in 3rd gear where before I had to use 2nd gear I was really impressed with the low end tourqe but, this pipe combined with the midrange port job is just undiscribably awsome and powerfull and it gained a little top speed. Does anyone have any comment on my set up or warnings I should know?
