Lowering Frontend of 400ex

I need to know the pro's and con's of lowering the front of my 400ex. I don't race, just play & ride. my reason for wanting to do this is because the front is a little to light for my likeing. I'm tired of kissing the headlights for a hard takeoff.

Re: Lowering Frontend of 400ex

Instead of lowering the front end with a kit (one that is most likely set up for tt racing), the best thing for that light front end would be an extended swing arm. This way you can keep your "travel" rate at such an extreme that jumping or just plain "messing" around wouldn't bother you if you got a kit for lowering the front end. That in my opinion is the best and most viable option. Can sell old swingarm or pick up a used one on Ebay. Hope this helps.
