450 comparison

I have ridin moto bikes, sport quads, utility quads and more. I have a Yama. Kodiak 450 right now cuz last year I thought it would be better for mudding. For trail riding, ice riding/racing, and ocasional moto track ridin what would be better, 450r or YFZ450? I know this is a hard comparison but over all for a teen ager that is intermediate to Advanced in riding, what would be better? Thanks

Re: 450 comparison

Honda is a nicer ride on the weekends, comfort, a little more linear power curve and a number of upgrades avail. when you get to that point, but the yamaha is better on the track.

Re: 450 comparison

I went to my Honda dealer and he told me, that a 400ex would be better for me because I'm a aggressive trail rider and the 450 needs more maintence then the 400. Also which 450 is faster like in flat track, cause I ice race?

Re: 450 comparison

take your pick of either one. they are both awesome bikes and once you set them up for your tuype of riding they will both perform great. OUtta the box the yammi is a lil more mx and the trx is a lil more xc.. at least the 04-05's
