Coming from a lot of experience....I have built many high performance engines for bikes....I would have no problems doing it to my own. I would not, however, do it to a two stroker. A lot of the old school ideologies no longer apply to modern engines. Heat transfer is far better, eliminating "hot spots", which used to be one of the big problems. I have to agree with another thing the guy said- filing down the hone crosshatches. If you had to scoot down asphalt for 100 ft, would you rather be on the coarse stuff, or quickly digress to something finer? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
