700 Raptor thread

Well, I just bought a blue one yesterday. This thing is a caddilac. This thing is so easy and convienant to use with Electric start, EFI, reverse, I love it.

So far ive pulled the lid off the air box, and the spark arrestor out of the stock muffler. It made a noticeable change in sound and performance. Its hard to gauge how much, as i have to carefully break the motor in and have not gotten past half throttle. I will be cutting the muffler off, fabricating and welding a straight pipe with a stainless tip. Reason being, the cheapest exhaust out there is $500 from Trinity, GYTR is $600 +! I should have it done mid week and will post pics.

Its a really torquey motor which is nice. The thumb throttle is a pain, and I have got to put a twist throttle on there. Anybody done this yet?

I ordered a six pack rack from PRM, as they were the only ones that made one that i could find.

Im told the Banshee rims have the same bolt pattern.

Trinity seems to have the largest aftermarket support for this bike so far, with complete exhaust, intake, piston, and programmer.

Anybody else out there have one?
