Polaris Scramler 50, Govenor

How do you take the govenor off of the 2002 Polaris scramler 50, my son is getting older and I would like to kick this thing in the pants a little. I payed 2000.00 for it.... so he needs to live with it for a little longer. Any Help?

The CDI box is on the front left or right side I believe, I cant remember off the top of my head, but on that will be a U shaped piece that is held onto the CDI by two screws, loosen those screws, pull the clip out, and youre set.

Hey, Prixor!

Thanks for the help, but what exactly do you mean when you say to remove the "clip"? Are you talking about the throddle on the handle bars or at the engine case?
The cable goes from the handle bar to the right side of the engine case.

Sorry, I know this must sound stupid, but........ what can I say!
