can\'t decide predator or yfz450?

i can't decide whitch new sport quad to get.
i race moto x and have always been a 2stroke guy but its time for a new one and i don't have much of a choice but to buy a 4stroke. i've been through a couple 250r's and a few tricked out banshee's and bascily have no exp. on 4strokes they never had enough power. i did have a 400ex once but i absoulty hated it and sold it qiuck. anyways i went and checked em out and narrowed it down to the preditor or yfz450. the things that i like abut em is the preditor has wider a-arms possibley saving me fromm buying aftermarket ones plus its a 500 and im a power fanatic, but it weighs way to much i mean it ways more then my old banshee and that thing could wear you out quick on a track. as for the yamaha its much lighter and has great shocks i won't need to replace them but im afraid it doesn't have enough power for me, and im trying to avoid spending alot of money tricking them out. so you see where im at.
are there any moto x racers out there who race any of these bikes? i could really use some help here. thanks

Definetly go for the YFZ450. there is no question that it is a better Motocross bike.

Re: can\'t decide predator or yfz450?

YFZ 450 the preadotor will need alot of aftermarket parts to keep up with a yfz, let alone pass one. Yfz's are gennerlly slower off the line but since there basically all low end you wont have a problem on a track also the predator 500 is soo much heavier then the yfz

YFZ ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!

The YFZ will have more of the 2-stroke type hit your looking for. its superior to the predator in every single way on a motorcross track

go with the yamaha 450,
it may only say 450,but it packs a punch.
the yamaha actually has the YZ450 dirtbike motor in it.
NO comparison!

can't believe you narrowed it down to the predator

Buy the YFZ450, or wait for the Suzuki LTR450, especially if you want to MX
