2002 warrior problems

I have a 2002 warrior and it was riding fine for a while, then it started to bog down when giving it half to full throttle. It will start off fine, but once you get half throttle it bogs out. Does anyone know what might be the problem?

You might also check to make sure you're getting good gas to the carb. ie filter? float sticking? clogged venturi?

Re: 2002 warrior problems

I had the same problem on a older Warrior. Mine ended up being the reverse wire ground being rusty making the ignition act like it was in reverse all the time (safety rev limiter). This wire is green if I remember right(no longer have it) and it goes to the reverse lever. Clean it or ground it somewhere else. Hope this helps ya.

Re: 2002 warrior problems

I own a 2001 Warrior, Check the REV limiter sensors in the Clutch/E-brake lever. The 2 wires coming out are your sensors.
Both of mine went bad and the Symptoms were the same as yours. Cost was about $40 and took me about 45 mins.

Good Luck
