Re: how do i do??????????????

doing a wheelie is simple. Riding a wheelie is a different story. On a 300ex, it's very simple, leaning back and tuggin on the bars and snappin the throttle open is your best bet. Or if you wanna just snap the front end up really quick, you get goin about 5mph and then pull the clutch in, rev it up a bit, dump the clutch and smack the gas open. 1st gear is not a good gear to "ride" wheelies in tho, 2nd gear is more for that, you just get goin in 2nd, don't have it revved up to high, then do the same thing, tug on the bars, and get the feel of the balance point. Practice makes perfect. On my banshee i could pull it up in 1st and set it down in 5th, but that was shifting and shifting and shifting, very hard to find balance point on a banshee, especially with their heavy front ends. But on my RM250, after just a couple hours on it i was bringing it up in 2nd gear and riding it for about 100-150 yards down my road, it's all in throttle control and feeling the balance point.

Re: how do i do??????????????

theres a few kinds

1.) stop completely, rev it a bit, bout little less then half throttle, and dump the clutch, not the best thing to do 24/7 but it is still fine to do it, using the clutch is what you will find yourself doing a lot to get over logs and other obstacles
2.) maybe when you get some more power you can wheelie in other gears besides first by just being at a low RPM and punching the throttle and leaning back
3.) then there is the standing wheelie, put one or two feet on your grab bar and press the gas, my little suzuki 50 does it, if your honda doesnt you are in trouble
once you mastered that try shifting with one foot and the other on the grab bar to ride wheelies far.... just be easy on the gas

when sitting down and doing a wheelie tap the rear brake if you think you may tipping backwards

Man! Just practice until you get it. I know you are probably a starter but like a 400ex like mine and a 300ex like yours, they are easy. Make sure your chain is set as tight as honda says to make it, then, go to a open road or a field or whatever you want to do a wheelie in, and dont rev it up a little less then half throttle rev about half of half throttle then let the clutch out or you can ride for a bit in 1st gear and press the gas and pull back and sit on the back of the seat, or you can stand on the grab bar and pull back while you have your feet on the grab bar and press the gas and dont go to far though!
