help problems !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a trx250x 1991 and i went to change the oil the other day like i do quite often because we ride quit a bit and when i pulled the drain plug out the threads that the drain plug goes into came out too, basically split in half.The drain plug has threads that come out the bottom of the casing they are not flush What should i do????i need some good ideas i love this bike and dont want to have to part it. It looks brand new but i also dont want to spend more money on it that it is worth

i would cut new threads into it and get that sized would have to adjust your seal too, and make sure not to get any shavings inside

your best and cheapest bet would be to tap a new bolt into the bottom of the engine...if I read you correctly the bolt threads on the oil pan were pulled out?

Look into buying a Heli-Coil set. it allows you to make new threads with a tap, thread in a coiled piece of metal then put your original bolt back in if threads on it are OK. They are well known buy most and have heard nothing but good news from people that use them.
