It won\'t stay running!!

So I have Honda 200s that will only run with the carb choked, turn the choke off it spits thru the carb and dies, put the choke on and in 1 pull its running again. The carb has been rebuilt is there some kind of adjustment that needs to be made? Is it running to lean with the choke off. I need some help, going mudding this weekend. Thanks Kelly

Re: It won\'t stay running!!

That is EXACTLY what mine does! I havn't had a ton of time riding that one though cuz i've been riding my other one (200x) but when I did ride it, I drove it around a bit and then let the choke out 1/2 way and it worked for a bit. I also noticed that when riding with the choke, it will act like it tops out till you reach down and move the choke open a little bit. Try riding it around and then open the choke a little bit letting it warm up. Let me know if that helps cuz yours is the same as mine.

Re: It won\'t stay running!!

So a friend of mine says its a clogged jet and when I open the choke its not getting enough fuel, so I'm going to try that out an see if it works. I'll post my findings.

Ok. I traded gas caps w/ my other one. Runs great! I think I need a new gas cap to replace the old one though...
