Need help, now!!! 250r carb is leeking gas

Can anyone help me ??
My 1986 TRX250R is pissing gas out of the overflow hoses on the carb. It does not piss out when im driving the bike, but as soon as I stop, shut it off and let it sit for about 30 sec, it will start pissing out gas like theres no tomorow!!
I open the carb several times cleaned it out, checked if the needle work and sealed good , it all seems to work fine but i cant figure out why it still pisses out gas like that.
Could it be the floats getting weak, and dont work properlly ???

Thanks for your time!!!

Re: Need help, now!!! 250r carb is leeking gas

I'm having the exact same problem with my '88R right now, been doing it for about 6 months, even wit hthe fuel valve shut off from the tank(I probably need to switch an O-ring inside the valve). I've cleaned it several times, and tried adjusting it but if I drop the float enough to stop the leak, my fuel bowl runs dry. raise it again just enough for it to run right, and it leaks again lol. I'm going ot be puling my carb off again sometime in the next few days, since the last time I messed with it was back over Memorial Day weekend, and that was in the dunes (I might just have a few pieces of sand in it hidden well). I'll let you know what I come up with, I noticed my leak when I lost an entire tank of mixed AV Gas overnight . lol
